Try looking at Power Manager (XFCE) typing power on menu should find it.
Under extended there is a check box for:
Lock Screen when going for Suspend/Hibernate...
Its the XFCE lock - so it will look slightly different than the default - at boot...
Light Locker also has settings (find same way)... But Light Locker can give grief on some systems (like mine)... Where you get a black screen returning from suspend...
