QuickTime movies won't play chrome and chromium browser
#3
Hello!

Since you're mentioning abc.go.com, just thought I'd mention that to view the most recent episode of an ABC show, you must 'log on' as a subscriber of a 'participating service provider' (in my case, AT&T U-Verse). As of this time, this feature is NOT supported natively under Linux, and AFAIK, they don't plan to add it.

I had to install Wine and run Firefox for Windows under Wine to get it to work. However, by the time you add the extra overhead that Wine and Firefox for Windows puts on your system, the videos get choppy, and are essentially unwatchable. Without mentioning specifics, there are better ways to watch such programming ]Wink

As always, my $.02 worth...

A gun in your hand is worth more than a whole police force on the phone.
