Can I access my Windows XP desktop with both OS installed?
#4
Hello!

I had a similar problem with an old printer (HP LaserJet 3100) that won't work on anything newer than XP. HPLIP doesn't support it, and it won't work in a VM.

What I ended up doing was dedicating an old laptop that still has XP to use as a 'print server' of sorts, and installed TeamViewer and WPS Office on it for MS Office compatibility. I then use TeamViewer to access the laptop the printer connects to.

This will do until I use up all the toner cartridges I have for it. Of course, I may DIE before *THAT* happens, as they last for YEARS...

A gun in your hand is worth more than a whole police force on the phone.
