Have you also deleted the app data folder, i.e. where your personal settings of this app are stored? Just re-installing it is usually still picking up from where you've left.
If there is no other option - hopefully someone else can enlighten us
- I would rename the .wine folder in your home directory and start wine and the app installation from scratch and see what happens.
