Thanks for writing this Rob! I have Ubuntu 14.04 LTS already running on my Secure Boot Windows 8 Travel Laptop. I didn't even have to turn off Secure Boot to boot and install it, thankfully. It runs and dual-boots with no problems. As I usually do, I downloaded the Ubuntu 14.04 LTS ISOs already and saved them to my external 1 TB Hard Drive (both 32-bit and 64-bit). I still have plenty of space to burn, still have barely half of it filled.
Linux Lite 2.0 will be released around the May / June time-frame. I don't know what features are planned for that release, other than a new base and kernel.
