Free Linux Ebooks
#1
Hi

I want to learn more about Linux in general!
I've been (and still Am) a Windows user until I discovered LL which gave a new life to my old laptop some time ago, after I bought a new one with Win10 (8GB RAM, i5core CPU,Nvidia bla bla bla).

My old laptop (the one I'm writing this now) is 11 years now so I have to thank the developers of Linux in general and LL in particular for providing a OS for a machine that otherwise would be useless.

I'm not a computer geek, just a simple user so Linux (terminal/command lines) are very confusing.

With that in mind what free ebooks recommendations would you guys suggest so I can improve my skills with linux.
Download links would be appreciated.

Thank You

I think this is a good point to start from: https://itsfoss.com/getting-started-with...gn=sidebar  You'll find a lot of info in that link; tutos and hows to, links for downloading books, software reviews and much more. Like I said, it is a good point to start from. Also, use the search feature in this forum as well as in google to find posts/articles about some particular subject/topic.

Hope this helps! Smile

Hello JesusLinux,

this book is good for learning the command line, then it becomes a bit less confusing.

[member=6801]JesusLinux[/member]  This site might be helpful too https://courses.edx.org/courses/course-v...17/course/  It offers an "introduction to Linux" course completely free of charge.
