		Is it not a case that their hardware is as yet not supported by the latest kernels?  A case of catchup for the developers as opposed to closing the door on linux at the behest of "the arch enemy"

My guess is they are possibly using NVME type drive, very fast..?? I had an issue installing on a friendsNUC which had an NVME drive, even Windows 7 needed patching for it to work in Dual Boot.
