How to set Windows as default boot in dual-boot with LL

I apologize ahead of time if I missed the answer, but how might I change the boot order so that Windows is the default?

I split your question off of this thread.  That thread was about something similar, but not specifically about how to set a particular OS as the default for booting.  Your question is a good one and deserves it's own thread post.


Answer to your question can be found by following instructions shown on this post in the Mint forums.  Only difference to adapt instructions for LL is to use the text editor "leafpad" in the command step for opening the /etc/default/grub file.  For LL, that command would be:

gksu leafpad /etc/default/grub
Other than that all steps are the same as shown there.
