Title: Secure Boot
Post by: tomt on August 14, 2016, 06:06:46 PM
In the "for what it`s worth department", some who may be concerned about switching from secure boot to legacy may find this of interest. Leave it to Microsoft.

And you think that was an honest mistake?

Honest mistake or mischievous employee who knows...

MS have much bigger issues now... If I have understood this all correctly...
They supplied millions of low cost Windows licences to OEM's for low cost Tablets & STB's,
they thought that is was securely locked to allow only a Windows only upgrade path,
Now there are "potentially" millions & millions of opportunities to now put Linux on them.
