Well, indeed, this is more than a nuisance.

I would actually label it "black screen of death".

Hi MS,

see my own thread https://www.linuxliteos.com/forums/start-up-and-shutdown/on-waking-from-suspend-panel-text-missing-etc/  where I have had a repeated problem which may be similar.

I think I have found a solution - I am waiting to see if it works longer term before writing it up, but it seems to be ok. Let me know if it looks like you're problem and I'll write up my (simple) solution.

Each time I set the system to suspend and then recall, it crashes upon the login.

EDIT:

Screen lock also seems to malfunction and hung up the system.
