My own mouse completely died and i have got trouble using the touchpad. My neighbour had an old maxxter wireless RF mouse so using that until i got a new wired mouse. So far no problems with the mouse...

@Şerban S. Thank you for the info. I think i better stick to a wired mouse. Just need to find one with a shorter cable. I am always in a fight with the cable ;D

What do you mean by personal files? Photos, documents, videos? If so then make a backup on external drive or usb stick of them and reinstall linux lite, after installation put the backed up files back...

I dont want to keep hitting enter everytime i open chrome. That isnt a solution to the problem. The addition of --password-store=basic worked untill LL 5.0

OS verssion was 4.8 and i tried etcher 1.5.56 -1.5.59 and 1.5.95 al gave me the error. ersion 1.5.95 for windows worked fine in windows 10

After a lot of problems during the day i was finally able to get a usb stick to boot windows 10 and then was able to create a usb stick with LL 5.0 and it installed.
