A tip for folks. Hit Printscreen on your keyboard, select 'Entire screen' then save it to your home folder. Then go to imgur.com and upload it. Then use the BBCode on the right hand side and paste that code block into your post. Voilą!
Wow! I really like that Neo :) You make dark look good.
Hello!
Yes, Neo - that DOES look good. Is there a way to 'package' some of these themes for others to enjoy?

I love the wallpaper. Do you have a link to it?

I know the problems with space on servers, Coastie. There are a lot of fora which don't allow it.@Coastie
... I noticed we are not able to upload to the forum. ...
There was a post somewhere on the instructions about how to upload images to the forum. As I remember it was to save space on the LL server. Maybe it can be tagged or pinned or whatever it is called for those like me who forget how to do it and others who have never done on this forum before.

I was talking about your GTK theme. Unless for some reason it's defaulting to that?
Can't post, message states pic too large, don't know how to solve that, thanx.

The background is a picture my wife took while we were walking up Mount Snowdon North Wales this year.
I believe Jerry prefers for you to upload it to imgur.com and then add it. The forum will auto resize large images.
Can't post, message states pic too large, don't know how to solve that, thanx.
You can resize the image: BBCode.org: Posting images (http://www.bbcode.org/examples/?id=10)
For example, here is your image resized and made clickable (to show full size):

This was done using the following code:Code: [Select][url=https://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/812x457q90/537/0cHxSH.png][img width=508 height=285]https://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/812x457q90/537/0cHxSH.png[/img][/url]

Hello misko,Hello bitsnpcs, you are welcome.
thank you for your help :)
Here is my new Linux Lite desktop following the tutorials and all the help received.
The wallpaper I d/l, added the text, and LL icon with transparent background made by sysdrum.
One of my desktops. Ever since I saw the HD pic of the Andromeda galaxy it has blown my mind - in this minute portion of that galaxy, each small dot is a star! That's great, Hable must have taken 150 photos and they were merged later. It looks like it's only a part of the Andromeda galaxy. Since galaxies are so big the light that comes from one part of the galaxy is late a few thousend years. But it doesn't matter because it takes milions of years for the light to reach the Earth. It's like seeing how did the galaxy looked like in the past. Scientists can only calculate where the galaxy is right now.
@altman Thanks.
Hello bitsnpcs. Great colours.
If You don't want to see [Workspace1 Workspace2] just remove it from panel. Then right click on panel->add new items->window menu. You will see new icon on Your panel.Left click on it and You can choose workspace.

@Unlimity Very nice and clean. I will try that Numix out.
@UnlimityThanks, but like I said, I'm still tweaking it, I'm a beginner with GNU/Linux, I was looking for many themes, but numix seemed as the only one perfect to me, I think a lot of people are making "forks" of it. I'm sure there will be some nice other themes. You can add official PPA.
Wow! That's beautiful. Great work.

Very nice LL image and theme called Dark Cold Master. Still playing with LL.
There so much more LL can do I just scraped the surface
Hello!A darker theme will certainly be in the next release. Altho not offically the main theme.
Nice theme!
I just might have to try Dark Cold Master. As of late, I've developed an interest in dark themes. The closest theme I could find is Dark Mint.
I know they make LiveDVDs larger, but one thing I'd like to see packaged in the future are more themes - some extra looks to choose from...

My Linux Lite 2.6 configuration. How did you put the "Computer" shortcut on the desktop? I wanted this to open "Drives" in thunar.
Simple, very modifed (to get a consistent all around de OS), and fully translated to my native language (folders. menus and software).
Gorgeous, if you ask me! :P

Thanks

@Wirezfree
Is that the RROD?? Red ring of death.. Good ole xbox 360 issues...
I do like that one...
Ohh games, I burnt myself out around 1974/5 to early 80's with PONG, Space Invaders and Galaxians on my ZX81
When I look back, and compare with today OMG... How could I have spent hours and hours and hours on them.....
And here some programs, with nice of touch of transparency
To nomko: To enable transparency go to Menu>Settings>Window Manager Tweaks, then click on the Compositor tab and click the check box to enable compositing.

I needed something windowsish to help me be comfortable. Theme was windows 10 dark but icons gave me errors so win 7 icons and ended up matte kinda because compositor is off but liked it and nice on the eyes. Sorry but not exactly sure what I'm doing lmao and that's how it ended up. Just loving the os though and and knowing i can reinstall in like 20 minutes gives me freedom to experiment.Cool, well thanks for trying to explain. I had lots of setups/themes i forgot how i got in the past too, LOL. it's all part of the fun/journey in Linux.

Hi Ralphy
Lookin' very nice! When creating a custom menu image is it important to adhere to a certain image size? For example, I believe the menu image in my LL 2.x install is 48x48.

I'm pretty sure the warning is to prevent posting of other things than your Linux Desktop.
If your cat is in a Linux Interface Wallpaper it should be fine but a photo of your cat ONLY would not. ;)
