I just happened to see this post. You have a very pleasant looking desktop. Tweaking it to familiar colors and general appearance of Windows for your wife was a great idea and very thoughtful. Great idea and very well done.

I paid special attention to matching the blue on the panel to Windows Basic Theme, so it feels familiar to my wife. I borrowed the picture from another Linux.

Edit: In case anyone's interested, here are the color settings to match Windows Basic Theme (Panel):

VALUE  82

RED     154
GREEN 171
BLUE    209
