Do not forget altogether this is still Ubuntu, which shows how a good outcome demands a solid foundation.

Just a note to say that my 32bit-UEFI only Lenovo 100s (see here (https://www.linuxliteos.com/forums/index.php?topic=2611.msg44393#msg44393) for the saga) is now running 4.6 without undue trauma.  Thanks team!

Thank you, team Linux Lite! I run your distro on most of my Lenovo Thinkpads (e.g mostly x131e models) and it has always been working just fine for me.

Good job and thanks again. Greetings from Scandinavia.

Fuji Si1520  3GB Ram. Currently on 64 bit 4.4 full.  Just updated.  Kernel 4.15.0-58  Tried to upgrade to 4.6   via  lite upgrade but pop up informed me I was on the latest release..  All else appears to be working   wifi/broadband connection OK.
UPDATE tried to upgrade this evening.  All went through without problems - 17 minutes;    probably upgrade site was busy before.
Thanks to team    LL equipment database  informed.  :)

Installing updates before the upgrade I ran into a segfault on one of the updates (not sure which one, unlucky me), trying to run updates again I was informed I needed to run "sudo dpkg --configure -a" which I did. When that was complete I rebooted and attempted to upgrade. But I'm getting the message that I am already at the latest version, but according to "cat /etc/llver" I'm still on 4.4. Any ideas on how to remedy this and get upgraded to 4.6?

UPDATE: I was able to remedy my situation by running a "sudo apt-get -f install", so all is good.
