Can you explain what you did here ?

Bootable media created by burning an iso file to media using etcher or similar creates a static 'Live' image of the OS. A Live image is typically for limited use, like trying the hardware or using as a base for a full installation to disk.
Live media made like this is not updateable and the error message you've posted looks like what you would get if you try to run updates to a Live image.

If you have installed the OS fully to disk there is something wrong.

If you wish to create a bootable USB device that you can use as a portable, bootable, updateable operating system you need to research persistent installation.

I think it's baked into XFCE. Don't know how it would have disappeared on your system, seems strange.

I have made a bootable device and installed in my laptop and open successfully, but when i want to updates the following message occur-ed. I will appreciate if someone can solve my problem or guide me to how to fix it.

Other / Screen mangify not working?

Hello all,

I had previously had Linux Lite 6.2 installed, and I remember there being an option somewhere in settings to choose which hotkeys (default is Alt+Scroll) to assign to magnify the screen at the cursor. However, I can't seem to find this setting in 6.4, and the screen magnify isn't working. The Linux Lite Help AI is telling me to look for System Settings and Universal Access, which don't seem to exist on my system. Does anyone know how to set up the hotkeys for the magnify option?

Some news about this project. Had some time to spare, tried to install it, but failed, can't figure out why, but did anyway.

Hallo Stevef und LL Comunity ! Die Sache mit LL ist nicht so einfach . Ich habe die externe Festplatte zum 4. Mal fomatiert und partitioniert, dann unter Windows mit dem Yumi Installer die LL Distro auf die USB Festplatte kopiert. Dieses Live System habe ich dann mit Lite Welcome installiert. Das System scheint nun zu funktionieren, ich habe LL mehrfach heruntergefahren und neu gebootet.
