Here are some good wallpapers that I was able to find, which may be great for minimal customization in minimal install systems.

I don't know specifically about overclocking but how about increasing the minimum speed of your CPU through TLPUI? Would that help?

I'm an Ubuntnoob but I hope I can assist you. Can you please provide more details on the error you have mentioned? I would also advice to plug in a cheap, wired keyboard for now in your device so you can keep continue your work.

P.S. Upon logging out, I realized that onscreen keyboard is available in there (in top left, accessibility icon). Onscreen keyboard would be helpful for your instance. It also seems that your HP Pavillion x2 has a touchscreen display. If it works, it would be helpful to assist you in your inconvenience as of the moment.

I am a new user of Linux Lite 6.6 and here's my minimal install desktop setup. I haven't themed it a lot since I can't change the icon of xfce Power Manager applet in the panel.

Introductions / Greetings from the Philippines

Hello there, I am a new user of Linux Lite 6.6. I'm a high school and a former Windows user for over 10 years. I'm not inherently new to Linux since I have already livebooted multiple distros. Needless to say, Linux Lite is the only distribution that has been compelling on my part.

I booted to the Linux side since I have an immense amount of hatred towards Microsoft since the Windows 8 release in 2012. Windows 10 has also performed disastrously on my Latitude 5300 (i3). Fortunately, Linux Lite brought out the best of the decent notebook.

I plan to assist new users hereafter for a more seamless transition. I also plan to work on a transition guide on my upcoming summer vacation. I greatly appreciate everyone's effort on making LL a wonderful distro, cheers!

Updates / Re: Linux Lite Updates - Brave Repositories
« Last post by stevef on April 19, 2024, 12:10:33 PM »
Ok.  We can at least disable the repositories which should allow the update/upgrade to ignore the Brave entries and run.

Click 'Menu'
Begin typing 'Software & Updates' into the search box
When 'Software & Updates' appears on the list, click on it.

Select the 'Other Software' tab in the box that opens

Untick any entries for Brave.
Enter your password if asked.
Click 'Close' on the lower right of the 'Software & Updates' window
Click 'Reload' to update the cache

Retry your update/upgrade.
