There is a problem with the Ubuntu US server at the moment.
You can either wait it out or change to another server.
To change, the instructions are in the wiki
Click 'wiki' near the top line of the forum page, then 'Contents'
Scoll down to the software section and click the word 'Repository' on the line Software Updates by Country
or just click
https://wiki.linuxliteos.com/en/software.html#updatescountry
Follow the instructions there and select another server. Then try updating again.
Repos in Europe may be better, but it is a bit of a lottery to find one that's working.
