Spotify Proton VPN Do you have a System Restore Utility (Timeshift) snapshot taken before adding these packages ? Removing Proton and Spotify will not solve this I think? To get the update/upgrade working again you can do one of the following 1) Fix the failed installations so that update/upgrade works and you have the functionality of the applications. 2) Reverse all the steps of the failed installations so that the applications are completely removed. 3) Make the update/upgrade process ignore the failed installations. Options 1 and 2 are technically neater, but rely on knowing the installation methods used or have a viable snapshot. Option 3 is a bodge. The choice depends on your answers to these questions. Are the Spotify and ProtonVPN applications working ? Do you need them ?
