Baldurs Gate 3 demand newer version of NVIDIA driver. - Tsul Kalu - 06-06-2024
Always when i start game launcher demands newer NVIDIA driver than exist in distro repository. Downloading newer version from NVIDIA site and installing it will cause problems?

It might, but before assuming that, see if there is any proprietary driver that is available for installation.
Open the Terminal (Ctrl+Alt+T) and Copy/Paste the following

software-properties-gtk --open-tab=4Wait for the system to search if any available driver can be found.
If it shows "No available driver found" than trying something else, will likely break your system and you will need to reinstall everything.
So if this is the case, you wont't be able to use the game that requires the said driver.
Even if you find an appropriate driver, it might cause problems. Some (many, in fact...) NVidia video cards created problems over the years due to NVidia's software policy.

Yes i installed NVIDIA 535 (proprietary,tested) driver but game recommend 536. In that case i need to install kernel 6.9 and that give me newer driver?
