You've asked about this a few times before. https://www.linuxliteos.com/forums/updates/re-update-error-cant-fetch-files-from-server-ppa/msg60596/#msg60596 https://www.linuxliteos.com/forums/updates/re-upgrade-error-lite-patch-gpg/msg60375/#msg60375 https://www.linuxliteos.com/forums/updates/upgrade-error-could-not-get-lock/msg60284/#msg60284 https://www.linuxliteos.com/forums/updates/upgrade-error-9035/msg59870/#msg59870 The 'could not get lock' message is usually triggered when an update process is already active when a second update process is initiated, for example starting a manual check when an automated background check is already running. Before manually running updates you need to ensure that no package management system is running, or if an automated background check is running, you just need to wait a while. Let us know if you continually get this error and are NEVER able to update as it may be something important. |
