LL's remarkable stability - trinidad - 08-26-2020

I had an install of LL 5.x on a computer I haven't been using regularly. I updated today... 77 days since my last update. In about 25 minutes all was done along with a successful reboot afterwards with no issues. In today's Linux world this is a remarkable achievement by an obviously meticulous developer. It has been my experience for some time now that Linux Lite is the most stable of all the Ubuntu derivatives and I believe that is because of its developer's dedicated attention to detail.

I have a spreadsheet with over 300 tweaks and tasks (that's the secret sauce) to go through when building LL from scratch. Tedious and takes a long time to implement, but with threads like this, worth it.

Hail to the King, baby! Wink

For those getting the reference... yes, my brain works in mysterious ways.
