Timeshift restore error - Jinith Jayan - 03-22-2020 I tried to restore my os by timeshift snapshot that I've created earlier. After restore it showed the boot image and all but its not showing the xfce desktop. After boot image it is opening command line. Please help with the regard. In case the hard disk is fine try checking it with live media program named disks under the wheels you may use "Check Filesystem..." It may not always found issue. then try to fix filesystem. after fixing it you may try checking it again. Then reboot. "/home" ,"/" and "/tmp" fix all of them, by default there is only one and it has ext4 filesystem: Fix and/or repair selected partition:
