New Firefox - trinidad - 10-03-2017

I noticed this morning that my Ubuntu OS which is set to automatically update finally added Firefox 56, so I updated LL 3.6 as well afterwards and indeed Firefox 56 was installed. I enable all the tracking features in Firefox and I believe this is the first time an upgrade was tailored to my usage habits. I'm going to test this for a while this morning between the two systems to see the differences.

Hello [member=5916]trinidad[/member] ,

how did your test go ?

Re: New Firefox - newtusmaximus - 10-04-2017

Has anyone found that Firefox 56 ( 64 bit as is)  response is slower??  Running LL3.6 64bit 4GB Ram.  Seems "clunky"

So far as expected, some features were added in LL that were already native in my Ubu OS which is very cool. All working well. So far. Going to 57 sometime today in Ubu. Test it there before trying in LL. Use the Pioneer set up too. I think Google had finally moved Zilla forward. A lot of newer Chrome ext now work in Firefox.

Still slowly than chrome on mine. Chromium was just as slow.
