update to 3.4 and Sys Info & Update status disappear from desktop - nublix - 05-07-2017
About an hour or so ago, I used the Lite Upgrade option to upgrade to 3.4 from 3.0. Towards the end of the process and after reboot, the System Information and Update Status box at the bottom left corner of the desktop was there and it did read [b]Linux Lite 3.4[/b], then at some point it was gone. I rebooted but it still has not reappeared.
How can I get it back please?

I don't want to reinstall if I don't have to because I have to use Plop on a floppy disk and gosh -it's painful; so I would really appreciate some help here, please.
