Connecting Mobile Phone to OS? - PinStripe - 12-08-2016 Hello, this is my 2nd post here... I have tried connecting my LG V20 phone to the computer in attempt to transfer photos to my OS. But when the file manager loads after clicking on the phone icon, the proper folders come up and I go into the internal folder and then click on the Camera folder where the photos would be stored. But then all of a sudden, everytime, it comes back with FAILED TO MOUNT LG. What?? I was just in it!! How do I transfer photos from my phone to this OS? Haven't had an issue for over a year with other distros. Why this one? Re: Connecting Mobile Phone to OS? - thoughtinstinct - 12-08-2016 Not sure it will help in your case but have you tried copying the camera folder to your desktop before opening it? Re: Connecting Mobile Phone to OS? - torreydale - 12-08-2016 You might consider the following link and advancing to the "Unclean LogFile" section: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Mount/USB Re: Connecting Mobile Phone to OS? - PinStripe - 12-09-2016 (12-08-2016, 08:58 PM)thoughtinstinct link Wrote: Not sure it will help in your case but have you tried copying the camera folder to your desktop before opening it?
