Integrity of Virtual Machines & Upgrading from LL2.8 to 3.0 - m654321 - 04-01-2016 I've another question about VMs, looking ahead to June when LL3.0 is released. When upgrading from LL2.8 to LL3.0 I will need to do a clean install as I've understood that Lite Upgrade won't work when upgrading from one LL series to another. However, I want my existing VMs to continue working in LL3.0. How do I ensure this? Before you answer you will need to know that: - I have two physical SSD drives in my PC, SSD1 and SSD2 - SSD1 is the primary drive, where LL is installed as has separate root & home partitions - SSD2 is purely for data storage (including the VMs), its directories being symlinked to /home on SDA1 Many thanks again for your advice.
