IPv4 connection settings and proxy GUI's - thinman - 02-08-2016 i'm just done with my prior inquiries on remote connection, and here i am again asking help if there are GUI windows for IPv4 connection settings, as well, proxy settings in Linux Lite :-\ i mean i'm more expose to Ubuntu in which if i add proxy, i just go to this window: [img height=357 width=800]http://i1155.photobucket.com/albums/p553/geekbuy/proxy_zpseg8bnrhw.png[/img] and if i put static IP or DNS, i also go on these window: ![]() likewise, hoping also you can share the command lines both for IPv4 connection settings and proxy if i go or use to the terminal :-[ Re: IPv4 connection settings and proxy GUI's - torreydale - 02-08-2016 To get to IPv4 settings, you can go to Menu > Settings > Network Connections, highlight your connection, and click on Edit. Then you'll see a tab for IPv4 Settings. For proxy settings, that is usually browser related and you'd need to go to the network settings for the browser you're using.
