Thanks for your help.  I downloaded the new install program, but i'm receiving this error message and the referenced link says "page not found": HPLIP cannot detect printers in your network. This may be due to existing firewall settings blocking the required ports. When you are in a trusted network environment, you may open the ports for network services like mdns and slp in the firewall. Follow instructions, and when the installers finished, It should say: "Now Remove the USB Cable" and then run HP-Setup ip.address in a terminal The ip.address will be shown on the last screen. Then select install method GUI, and a GUI opens. You need a temporary connection via USB. Then choose Wireless/802.11(3rd option down), step through the screens adding it to your WiFi network. On the last screen, make a note  of the hp-setup & ip.address. Disconnect the USB cable, open terminal and enter command.
