Dell Vostro 220s - EDS - 12-14-2015

Love Linux Lite.  Just wiped another XP machine and loaded LL.  I am not sure if this Dell Vostro 220s has a wireless card or not. I do have ethernet.  How can I find out if there is an internal card or not??

In terminal enter the following code:
Code:
inxi -Fxz

Will output the system info...

Thanks a lot for the quick response. Here are my results:

Network:  Card: Realtek RTL8111/8168/8411 PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet Controller
          driver: r8169 ver: 2.3LK-NAPI port: e800 bus-ID: 02:00.0
          IF: eth0 state: up speed: 1000 Mbps duplex: full mac: <filter>

This means no Wireless Card, right??

Correct internal it would show multiple..
Card 1 and Card 2 typically.. Like the below..

USB devices may show differently, but you would know if you had one Smile

Using wireless usb on this desktop tower that came with no wireless card

Code:
$ inxi -N
Network:   Card-1: Intel 82566DM-2 Gigabit Network Connection driver: e1000e
           Card-2: D-Link System DWA-140 RangeBooster N Adapter(rev.B2) [Ralink RT3072]
           driver: rt2800usb

Bought this (1st link below) one (but I run a new kernel)

Code:
$ inxi -S
System:    Host: misohorny1 Kernel: 4.2.0-linuxlite i686 (32 bit)
           Desktop: Xfce 4.11.8 Distro: Ubuntu 14.04 trusty

Quote:works with Ubuntu  By  massivearms2014  on May 3, 2014Size: N150 Verified Purchase  When I got the adapter I tried it on my Ubuntu laptop but it was not recognized. I upgraded to Ubuntu 14.04 and now the adapter is recognized and working great. This information is for those who use Linux instead of Windows.
