how to remove leftovers - jclassic1 - 12-08-2015 I have used Maxthon web browser recently but have now removed it but when I use Clam it still finds it for scanning. I have read on another Linux OS forum a post explaining how to do this but cannot remember where I saw it. Can any members tell me how to completely remove these programs from LL. Thanks John Re: how to remove leftovers - Zead - 12-08-2015 It should be in /home/yourname/ Or /home/yourname/.config/ And cache in /home/yourname/.cache/ For example FireFox is in /home/yourname/ And Chromium is in /home/yourname/.config/ Should be there somewhere. And to show the hidden files, just press CTRL+H in the file manager. Re: how to remove leftovers - jclassic1 - 12-11-2015 Thanks Zead,I will give it a try John |
