how to turn off num lock - emmauspaul - 08-15-2015 hi there could you tell me how to turn off the num lock as this comes on when the computer boots also the keyring comes on to allow the wireless to work how do i turn this off thanks paul Re: how to turn off num lock - avj - 08-15-2015 Assuming you are on a laptop, as you haven't given enough information to know for sure. According to the help manual on a laptop you will use a Fn+numlock, that is done by holding the Fn key and pressing whichever function key at the top of the keyboard is marked as numlock. On my laptop this is the F11 so I would push Fn+F11. https://www.linuxliteos.com/manual/start.html#kbfunction As for the keyring issue type keyring into the search at the top right there are numerous topics about how to fix that issue. Re: how to turn off num lock - emmauspaul - 08-15-2015 Hi AVG many thanks for your reply. Yes I'm running a emachines 350 netbook and (fn)F11 is the way to turn off the nums lock which is on when I boot up. I have to put in the the keyring password on boot up to access the wlan which I will look through the forum for answers to take that off. thankyou for your help Paul |
