... would using the Debian version Ubuntu is based on be worth it considering.I know I'm speaking through my hat not even knowing if Debian has an LTS version but I mean would the ressources/size and workaround to compensate for lost Ubuntu functions break the project?

Like the main LL, Core will likely have an RC.

Provide better feedback regarding features and settings, yes, I know RCs are meant with that same purpose, but I just think it would be a good idea having some of the more "experienced" users(selected by you)to try and use Lite Core prior to any RC release, given it is a "Core" edition, thus they might see things( LL's target audience might not)and suggest ways to improve it. Just a thought. :55:

Happy to use core starter on this twin core Fuji Si1520. Currently on L5.4. 3 GB Ram . Starting to struggle a bit. Hopefully CORE approach would overcome this. Fairly early adopter of LL (2014?.
