Re: Loose xfce desktop when HDMI disconnected - Wirezfree - 01-13-2015 Hi altman, This is the xfce/hdmi issue ![]() There appears to be a fix, but not sure how to apply/do it.? I may try posting in the referenced thread. But that seems focused on the Bug/Fix/Verification, rather than a How To. I have another thread on WiFi. Dave Re: Loose xfce desktop when HDMI disconnected - Wirezfree - 01-14-2015 Quick update on the xfce/HDMI issue > Have asked the question on bugzilla.xfce on how to apply the fix, no response yet. > Did another test with a live boot of another xfce distro, Antix-MX14, and that works fine, do not loose the desktop. Dave Re: Loose xfce desktop when HDMI disconnected - altman - 01-14-2015 Wonder if it would work on a full antix-MX14 install . Re: Loose xfce desktop when HDMI disconnected - Wirezfree - 01-14-2015 Hi, I'm sure it would, Now I know what the issue is, I tried doing a Live boot of LL 2.0 & 2.2, and the problem is the same, if I remove HDMI, I loose the xfce desktop. It's something I would never of thought of doing during a Live boot, remove HDMI cable. Dave |
