Monkeyman:
Yes, sir!  That did it although I was sure I could print without going through GIMP before.  Then again, maybe MY memory is failing.  :)

Thank you!

Wirezfree:
Ooops, Sorry,
I did that from memory, which is obviously failing :(

Right click the .png file, use the open with "GNU Image Manipulation Program"(which is GIMP),
It should open the file, Under the "File" menu there should be a print option, does that work..?

Monkeyman:
This is a fresh install of 2.4 so I haven't changed anything.  I've got 4 icons in the top left corner.  Open an image, Save a copy of the image, Delete this image from disk and Edit this image.  I can click on Edit this image and choose Print Preview (it would be nice if the options were in alphabetical order) but that comes up blank.  The printer is on and I can successfully print a PDF file.  With a PDF file, one of the Open With options is Open in "Print Preview".  When I choose that, the Print Preview window opens with the PDF image.  I don't get that option with anything else and when I dig for it, the Print Preview window in empty.
