Hi,
I have HP3545 AIO, running LL without any problem. And my overall experience with HP printers is very good as well. Have tried competitors, but returned to HP.

Hello!

I'm with Jerry on this one. No one does Linux support like HP does!

Now that you have your HP wireless printer configured, you won't need to use the USB option again unless you change something about how your network is set up. Also, when you update HPLIP, you shouldn't have to configure that printer again, either, or you'll end up with more than one listed...

HP deserves much love, they do a wonderful job of supporting Linux and as such, I will always buy their products. As 'consumers' we must reward this kind of effort, especially when linux has around 1% of the desktop market. They really go out of their way.

I must admit I was really impressed at the way my relatively new printer worked out of the box in LL.

Yes, HP Printer have always been good, but I'm biased,
I worked for them for just over 21 years.

I've always found HP printers the best for Linux. HPLIP does a good job.

Hi,

My old HP 3070 started making horrible noises, so time for a new printer,
my local supermarket(Tescos) had some New HP Deskjet 3634 AIO's for £39.99 @$60
So I bought one...

Plugged it into LL Laptop, pop-up "you need HP-3060 drivers", quick google, an update of HPLIP required.
So I went to the "Latest HPLIP Download" page.

Downloaded and ran the installer to update to the latest HPLIP,
Then ran HPLIP, added new printer, up and running via WiFi in a few minutes.
You do initially connect via USB, but a WiFi option is part of the options in HPLIP.
NOTE: It could be missed, on the last install screen, small text,
It says "Now Remove USB Cable" then run "HP-Setup <ip.address>" in a terminal

Print quality is very good, and it's a bit smaller than my old HP-3070 AIO.
