It don't work for me.

It returns me to the previous configuration.

Any new ideas?

Hi @RjveraL
I don't know the rules for languages here, is it only English allowed? Well, if I'm right, you ca go to "configuraciones>editor de configuración y ahí seleccionas editor de tipos mime

aunque yo intenté asociar ese tipo de archivo pero no me funciono, pero yo no tengo instalado el WPS office, intentalo tu y ve que pasa."

Hope this helps! :)

I'm trying to change the default application (LibreOffice) from file type .xlsx to WPS.

However, do not let me change this option.

What will be the problem?

What I usually do to change it is:
Right button - Properties - Default application ---> this option does not let change
Right button - Open with ... Make this application default. ---> after closing it is verified that this new association does not exist.

I've tried several things

Attentive to your ideas and comments.

Rj

PS: Sorry my english is very bad
