I would recommend you use Lite Tweaks.  Menu > System > Lite Tweaks.  The first option is the Autoremove Packages option.

After the last few updates, I received this message in the update log:
"The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required:
  libhdb9-heimdal libkdc2-heimdal libntdb1 python-ntdb
Use 'apt-get autoremove' to remove them"
How do I exactly perform this task?
