Before adding a PPA, you need to check that it's compatible with Linux Lite (or any Linux based distro for that matter). See the PPA section in the Help Manual for more info. PPAs cannot just be added arbitrarily. In the meantime, remove that PPA and your problem will be solved. Cheers

Thanks for reply. Yes, I did add the Banshee PPA, shortly after installing Linux lite itself.
