Title: Unable to add attachment to email using gmail/Firefox
Post by: Lepros on November 18, 2022, 11:34:08 AM
I recently installed Linux Lite and I have been trying it out but have had a problem with it that I haven't had with my Windows machine.

When I open gmail in Firefox, create a new email, and click on the button to add an attachment, nothing happens.

I don't have this problem on my Windows machine and I don't have the problem even on my Linux Lite machine if I use Chrome.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this?

Thanks!

I just tested that here at it works fine. Do you have any Firefox addons? Consider putting up a gif or video of your actions. Cheers :)

Greetings<

Have you tried the drag and drop method. I had this issue and solved.

Good luck!

I just tested using Firefox browser latest version on Linux Lite 5.8 on Gmail and the email and attachment went through and opened without incident.  Like Jerry said check your extensions, plug ins and add ons most likely a problem with Firefox or Gmail not Linux Lite.
