@Moltke,

Thank you for your answer to my query.

I did as instructed, and now my Linux Lite OS shows the correct local time, even after a restart or fresh start.

Local time: Sat 2021-11-06 07:07:17 IST
Universal time: Sat 2021-11-06 01:37:17 UTC
                 RTC time: Sat 2021-11-06 07:07:17
                Time zone: Asia/Kolkata (IST, +0530)
System clock synchronized: no
              NTP service: n/a
          RTC in local TZ: yes

Warning: The system is configured to read the RTC time in the local time zone.
This mode cannot be fully supported. It will create various problems
with time zone changes and daylight saving time adjustments. The RTC
time is never updated, it relies on external facilities to maintain it.
If at all possible, use RTC in UTC by calling
         'timedatectl set-local-rtc 0'.

Are the following correct?

System clock synchronized: no
              NTP service: n/a

If not, what did I do wrong and how to correct?

I am otherwise satisfied that my system now maintains the correct time.

Thank you so much for your support.

Linux Lite 5.6 does not maintain the correct time. I have to manually correct the time after each login.

The time in BIOS settings is always found to be correct. Windows 11 also shows the correct time.

Please help. I am tired of manually setting/correcting the time after each login!

Thank you.

Yeah, this usually happens when dual booting Windows and Linux. Read here to fix it https://itsfoss.com/wrong-time-dual-boot/
Without each others help there ain't no hope for us :)
