Title: neofetch gives wrong result
Post by: maurice_olive on March 18, 2022, 03:21:18 AM
I'm running on Linux Lite, but when I run neofetch, it says that my OS is Ubuntu 20.04.4 LTS and the logo of Ubuntu appears on my screen instead of the feather icon of Linux Lite.  What should I do to fix this issue?

Best regards,

Open /etc/os-release as Administrator.

Change:

Code: [Select]
PRETTY_NAME="Ubuntu 20.04.4 LTS"
to:

Code: [Select]
PRETTY_NAME="Linux Lite 5.x"
where 5.x = the version of Linux Lite you are running.

This is fully supported in the upcoming 6.x Series.

Thank you very much Jerry! Well appreciated! Stay Safe and God bless!

P.S. Does it also change the logo?
