UIAM, unfortunately, you have to reinstall Linux Lite to restore the default menu structure. Linux Lite heavily modifies the menus structure, and the revert/restore function mucks all that up.

I would DEFINITELY consider this to be something that should be further looked into - as in obtaining the source for Alacarte (the menu editor), and either changing the default menu to reflect LL's modified menu structure, or at least removing (or greying out) the 'revert' button. The latter would probably be MUCH easier...

I noticed that if you edit the menus applications and click restore it adds an extra empty Internet menu. Also it is adding programs that I have uninstalled, how do I fix this.
