@Cheapskate
Your current enough - not enough to worry about, your at 108 and you were downloading 109..
It may have downloaded a file or 2 and thinks it has it all. When 110 is out it'll update to that, could you find and correct - you could but its nothing to fret over....

@Şerban S.
This is the end of the road with LL 4.8.
I'm still running it, so that is all, for now.
Jerry might push some new kernel if something new shows up, by at this very moment, my kernel is 4.15.0-109-generic

LL4.8 is not end of the road.. or end of life.... It will continue to receive patches/kernels...

  Am I really up to date?
Hi! :)
I confirm this.
This is the end of the road with LL 4.8.
I'm still running it, so that is all, for now.
Jerry might push some new kernel if something new shows up, by at this very moment, my kernel is 4.15.0-109-generic
I guess it showed up yesterday or so. I forgot, I pushed twice a day the updates in the last 3 or 4 days, so one of those had the new kernel revision, I only remember having a list of kernel packages to install spo I proceeded without too much fuss...

...I checked again now the updates list. Nothing like kernel. Some 10 packages, compiler related though.
Maybe later...

Anyway, if you want a new kernel for some reason, give it a testdrive to LL 5.0.
I found nothing to worry. It's just that my Lenovo T400 seems to live its last days... Somethnig wrong with the USB (Ports? Controller?).
I'm expecting a desktop now, so I'll get back to LL 5.0 în a few days.
I'll keep people informed on what's what and how's how, on the dedicated thread.

Best regards! :)

OK.  I removed all old kernels and Update then did nothing but say I was up to date.  Then using Tweaks, I reinstalled the kernel.  Update then did the same.  I then found this:
Kernel      : Linux 4.15.0-108-generic (x86_64)
Version      : #109-Ubuntu SMP Fri Jun 19 11:33:10 UTC 2020
C Library      : GNU C Library / (Ubuntu GLIBC 2.27-3ubuntu1) 2.27
Distribution      : Linux Lite 4.8
  Am I really up to date?

Yes you're up to date. My latest kernel was 108-Generic before I upgraded to Linux Lite 5.

Looks like you're out of space... Most likely /boot..
Use Lite Tweaks and Remove old kernels..

Your in use won't display so no worries, but make sure you get each file for that version.

Then rerun updates.
