Choose to force quit, its perfectly safe.

First some perspective on this issue: it happens on only about %10 of the time when booting.

Last time I attempted this the system was complaining it was busy and gave the option to force quit. Maybe I didn't wait long enough. Next time it happens I'll wait longer and try closing the window again.

Hi Arunp,

I can't see your attachment but I can confirm this problem. When it happens on my maching the lightdm-webkit-greeter remains open as a window after sign-in. The best work-around for this problem I've found so far is to log out and log in again.

I encounter the same issue sometimes both at 1.0.8 and 2.0. LightDM is the main problem here.

Dear Team,

The lightdm-webkit-greeter window opens sometime while booting and the desktop stays blank as given in this attachment, it gets closed when the window close is pressed and LL works normally,

Why this is happening, what is the remeady
