Read the Apache documentation and do a Google Search on "
How to set up a web server om my computer".
You'll find enough help there.
You need to install "
LAMP". Search for that, too.
I once set up such a server. I needed to test some PHP pages, both on my computer and live, on the web host, while I was blogging. I did exactly what I said above and made it out.
It's too complicated to explain in a few words and besides that, it's all in the documentation. Repeating here what's already there, it's pointless.
