When I wake my computer up from SUSPEND the internet lags horribly. I have two IPs and even if I switch from one to the other it doesnt help.
After a reboot, it works normally again.
Seems there are plenty of similar problems for linux folk (listed on a google search) but not sure if any of the fixes apply to LITE.
Any ideas?

What solutions do you find on Google?? Post the links so we can help and guide.

Now I can't find the post I thought might apply - I will keep looking.
But when I search "linux internet lag after suspend" on google, there are a number of links to similar problems.

Hi,
I could be wrong but try and do a search in these forums also.
I have seen it mentionned before but could be elsewhere.. memory... failing... arg.
I "think" this was because it was a broadcom driver issue. But I'm really not sure... maybe it was ralating to a rubber chicken with a pulley in the middle. ;)

Was this thread maybe what you were thinking about?
https://www.linuxliteos.com/forums/other/unable-to-reconnect-to-wlan-when-laptop-lid-is-shut/msg14125/#msg14125
Lately it seems like rather than lag, I simply can't connect to the internet after i wake up from SUSPEND.

You think installing would help (like in the thread I linked?)
-
You forgot the -n
inxi -n

You forgot the -n...
Nah - I just put a space between the - and the n... here it is:

See if this driver helps - https://launchpad.net/~markus-tisoft/+archive/ubuntu/rt3090/+files/rt3090-dkms_2.4.0.4-0ubuntu0~ppa0_all.deb

Will try and let you know - thank you

Hi,
Reading from them intertubes, seems the Ralink 3090 gives/gave quite some troubles in Windows and Linux.
Thing is, posts date back to Ubuntu 11.04. They mention having better luck with de rt2860 in some cases.
But, that driver was removed from the Kernel a while back it seems.
Also, it seemed to prevent Linux from Suspending/Hibernating and even Shuting down in some cases.
If it's not a laptop, changing the card for a more recent one (+Linux supported) could save you lots of time and trouble ;)
** On a side note, maybe putting powermanagement in your BIOS to S# instead of S4-S5 could help.
Or, just disabling suspend and trying a simple "sleep".

I do have this USB WiFi dongle - A TP-Link TL-WN725N
Here is INXI -N after I plugged it in.
Network: Card-1: Ralink RT3090 Wireless 802.11n 1T/1R PCIe
driver: rt2800pci
IF: wlp3s0 state: up mac: d0:df:9a:a9:d6:d4
Card-2: Realtek RTL8111/8168/8411 PCIE Gigabit Ethernet Controller
driver: r8169
IF: p5p1 state: down mac: 38:60:77:1e:ee:12
Card-3: Realtek RTL8188EUS 802.11n Wireless Network Adapter
IF: null-if-id state: N/A mac: N/A
Do I need to disable the other WiFi or just leave everything as is?
