Title: How to set LL 4.0 language preferences differently for different users?
Post by: Vera on July 06, 2018, 09:19:33 AM
I recently switched language preferences on my LL 4.0 machine. I switched it to Esperanto. The only problem is that I can't figure out how to keep English as the language for the other 2 users on the machine. How should I do that? Currently when either of my other 2 family members log into their accounts, everything is in Esperanto, when they need to use English. Any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks so much.

@Vera  I've not done this myself been a single user pc, but it can be set using the bashrc file for each user.

Hope this helps

Thank you @DeepThought , your solution worked perfectly! I thought it would be something in the LL 4.0 graphical settings, but no, the solution was the modification to .profile that was shown in the link you gave. Thank you! Now my family members and I can each use the LL machine for our different language preferences.
