I found a simple USB formatter application during my little flirtation with LXLE.  It's actually one of Linux Mint's cool tools that lets me format a USB stick in two clicks.  I added it to Linux Lite by downloading the .deb package here and opening it with Gdebi.  The other suggestions are good ones, of course!  But I'm just a simple boy who like simple things... and this little gem is perfect.

mintstick is a nice little tool. Not only it does USB stick formatting but also image writing. I use it myself in multiple machines because of its immense simplicity.

Hi Ramzy. To format a usb flash disk use the GParted application. You can find it at location menu > system > partition drives. This YouTube video explains it well. You can ignore/skip the first part of the video that explains how to install GParted.


how to terminal? ;)
