Title: Format USB stick
Post by: dennus on May 02, 2014, 04:59:55 PM
Hi all!

Is there a simple way to format an USB stick?  In the newer Linux Mint there is a tool called MintStick. Any change of that one coming over to Linux Lite?

I must say, in the years past I have been trying several versions of Linux on my laptop...  Ubuntu, Mint, Arch etc.  But I find Linux Lite to be the fastest :-)

I use uNetbootin and I have not had a single usb stick fail on me. In fact I think it is the best simple to use and does exactly what I want it to do.

Pretty sure you can just search for it in synaptic and find it and click on it. Installs in seconds and when you first open it up the UI is real simple.

Hope this helps.
