Hello forneus,

in File manager, if you click the Desktop icon below Places Menu, it will display any folders that are on your Desktop within the window pane to its right (in File Manager), where they can be accessed.

I do not have a Desktop folder displayed in Home.

Public folder in Home no idea what it's for.

I'm a bit confused here. Trying to organize my personal folders and in general figure out which directory has what content. Among my documents, music, downloads and pictures I see Desktop. Why is it there and is it safe to delete (hide) it? The same about Public. I don't think I'm going to need it.
